Client Results
Before, Progress & After Photos
Small Electric Work, Big Transformations
In electrolysis, true permanent results can only be assessed a minimum of 3 months after the last treatment. This is due to natural hair growth cycles which typically span approximately 3 months. HAIR density will often look temporarily reduced before 3 months' time.
assessing or presenting results earlier than a three months break from treatment may be misleading and not reflective of permanent outcomes.
For example, results shown at one or two months post-treatment may appear improved simply because the hair growth cycle has not yet reached its maximum. By the three-month mark, hair density generally reaches its maximum and provides a more accurate picture of actual
For accurate assessment, this also includes avoiding temporary hair-removal methods such as plucking or waxing, and in the case of medium to fine hair avoiding shaving during the three-month assessment period.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CONSUMER PROTECTION

Electrolysis is often a process that unfolds over time due to hair growth cycles. Some examples below may still be in progress, which is why a final “after” photo is not yet available in all cases.
The images shown below represent real client progress and are intended to demonstrate work performed at Art of Electrolysis.
Individual timelines will vary. Factors influencing treatment timelines are discussed during the consultation.
Lighting conditions may differ between images.
Some before and progress/after photos were taken under warmer (halogen) lighting, while others were taken under cooler (LED) lighting due to equipment updates.
All progress and after photos below were taken after a break of three months or more following the last electrolysis treatment

Face and Neck
Case 01 - Face and Neck
Before Photos:
These images show only a fraction of the client’s true hair density. The photos were taken after electrolysis had already begun and approximately six weeks after the client’s last laser hair removal session.
At six weeks post laser, many follicles had temporarily shed their hairs and are in the process of producing more hair not yet visible, making the area appear less dense than it actually was.
In total, there were approximately three to four times more follicles capable of producing hair than what is visible in these before photos.

PROGRESS PHOTOS:
Permanent results visible after a three-month break from treatment.
At this stage, there were approximately three remaining medium-thickness hairs and a small number of fine, longer hairs, which had been intentionally left untreated in earlier appointments in order to focus on the thicker, more prominent hairs first.

Case 02 - Face and Neck
Before Photos:
These images were taken after electrolysis had already begun, therefore they do not fully represent the original maximum hair density.
Mild redness visible on the right chin reflects a normal post-treatment response, as some electrolysis had been performed immediately prior to this photo.

PROGRESS PHOTOS
Permanent results are visible following an approximately 7-month break from treatment.
At this stage, very few hairs remained on the upper lip and chin. There are A small fraction of hairs beneath the jawline, as this area received less treatment prior to the break due to scheduling circumstances.
Note: Temporary redness is from winter related irritation rather than from electrolysis.

Case 03 - Face And Neck
Before photo: Taken before any treatment, showing the area with maximum hair density.
Progress Photo: Taken after a series of electrolysis appointments completed within six months, followed by a four-month break from treatment.
A permanent reduction in hair density is visible after the four-month break from treatment.

Face
Case 01 - Chin
Note: Skin irritation visible in these photos is due to ingrown hairs, rather than electrolysis.
Before Photo: Taken before any electrolysis treatment. The client last plucked approximately two months prior, so the image may not reflect the true maximum hair density.
Progress Photo: Taken after a series of appointments within four months and then a five-month break.
A permanent reduction in hair density is visible after the five month break from treatment.

Before Photo:
Maximum hair density is shown, except for a small area of redness resulting from a sample treatment.

Progress Photo: Taken after a series of electrolysis appointments completed within three months and then a 3 month break.

Redness visible in the progress photo is due to mild irritation from numbing cream, rather than electrolysis.

Back of Neck hairline
Case 01 - Back of Neck Hairline
Client Goal: To clean up the back of the hairline into a straight, defined shape, rather than a natural tapered hairline.
Healing: The client experienced no scabbing or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation following electrolysis. No visible signs of treatment were present within a short period after treatment.
Before Photo: Maximum hair density is shown, except for a small area of redness on the right hairline tail from a sample treatment.

Progress Photo:
Taken after a series of electrolysis appointments.
A permanent reduction in hair density is visible after a seven-month break from treatment.
Thicker hairline tails are no longer present, and remaining finer hairs may be refined further as desired.

Arm(s)
Case 01
Left Arm for Phalloplasty Prep
SURGICAL GOAL:
Complete clearance of all terminal hairs on the required portion of the arm designated for phalloplasty preparation as well as vellus hairs, on portion used to create a urethra.
HEALING:
The client experienced minimal post-treatment reaction, limited primarily to transient redness that resolved quickly. No adverse healing concerns were reported.
BEFORE PHOTO (3/4 ANGLE):
Maximum hair density is shown. Redness visible is due to temporary skin irritation from clothing and not electrolysis treatment.
PROGRESS PHOTO (TOP ANGLE):
Taken after a series of electrolysis appointments. A permanent reduction in hair density is visible following an almost four-month break from treatment.

Stomach
Case 01 - Stomach
Before Photo: Taken prior to any treatment. Maximum hair density is shown. Hyperpigmentation visible along the stomach trail was due to chronic hair growth related irritation rather than electrolysis.
After Photo: Taken following four appointments, with full clearance achieved at each session. Permanent hair removal is evident, along with gradual resolution of hyperpigmentation previously associated with hair growth.
Photo was taken three months after the last appointment, when the client returned to begin treatment on a different area.
Note: Skin texture visible in the image is due to clothing pressure.
