Choosing the Right Electrologist

If seeking electrolysis elsewhere, be sure that:

• You should not feel the hair being plucked after the current is applied. the hair should slip out without any sensation.

• you're not experiencing excessive skin damage.

scabbing should be minimal to nonexistent:

• On the face: scabbing should be at least 99% nonexistent.

• On the body: scabbing should be small, typically no more than 1mm in size or nonexistent.

Many clients have reported little to no results after extended treatment with certain electrologists, even those with many years of experience. This is often due to improper technique and lack of skill, precision or knowledge.

Electrolysis is an art, not just about the machine but the skill of the electrologist. If you experience plucking, resistance when hairs are removed, or excessive skin damage, stop treatment and seek a more skilled electrologist, even if it means waiting.

Note: In rare Cases, very dry follicles may cause hairs to be more resistant. however if plucking is consistent, please consider seeking a second opinion.
